Front End Manager

Seber Cart Front End Manager is an add on component for either the Commercial or Express versions of Seber Cart. Front End Manager let's you assign users to manage your store from the front end of Joomla without having to log into the Joomla administrator control panel.

Front End Manager allows you to define what your front end store manager can do. You can give them the options of:

Order Management
View the list of all orders and then select an order number to view it. Complete order information is displayed and the user can process the order as required.
Product Management
View all products, create new and edit exisiting products. Product reviews can also be processed.
Product Categories
View all categories and edit as needed.
User Management
Set VIP users and display orders for a specific user.
Freight Table
Update the freight table

Seber Cart Front End Manager costs AUD$14.99 and includes all future upgrades and bug fixes. Make sure you upgrade to the required minimum version of Seber Cart before installing.

How to use Seber Cart Front End Manager

After purchasing the component and installing as a standard Joomla component you will find you now have a Seber Cart Front End option. Select this to configure the Front End Manager and you will see the following screen.

Component Options

Under General settings you can optionally display to the front end user if an update is available when Seber releases one.

Under the Display Section you can set which options the Front End Manager will display. Untick any options you do not want visible.

Click on the Save icon to save your changes.

Front End User Configuration

You will now need to create a menu item that links to the Front End Manager. Using the standard Joomla menu manager, create a new menu item of type Seber Cart Front End. Set the access level to Registered

Seber Cart Front End Manager will not work unless the logged in user has been placed into the correct user group in the Joomla user manager. If user is of type Public Front-end->Registered they will not be able to access the component. You will need to set the user to Public Front-end->Author or higher. To change a users group, user the Joomla User Manager to edit the user. Back-end users always have access to the component.
