Process of Affiliates in Seber Cart:

Upon checkout before payment proceeds a shopper will have the option to give an “Affiliate Code”, this is shown in the backend of Seber Cart with the amount of the purchase and the code used. Affiliate reports can be generated to any specific date to date, Eg: 13/5/11 to 15/5/11.

Enabling Seber Cart Affiliates:

• Login to the backend of your Joomla installation.
• Hover over the “Components” menu located at the top of the window.
• Scroll down until you see Seber Cart and stop, a new menu will appear.
• In the newly appeared menu slide your mouse across and select “Configuration”
• In the “General” section you will see “Show Affiliate option on Checkout”
• Click the tick box beside that option and you have enabled Seber Cart Affiliates.
  

Creating Inbound Affiliate Links:

You can allow affilates to link directly to your site without the user having to enter the affiliate code.  All you need to do is have your affiliate link to any Seber Cart page (where option=com_sebercart is in the URL).  As part of the link they must add the affiliate querystring followed by their affiliate code.

For example: http://demo.sebercart.com.au/index.php?option=com_sebercart&view=store&ck=8&affiliate=affiliatecode

Checking Seber Cart Affiliates:

The second step to use Affiliates in Seber Cart is to view reports of Affiliate Codes used.

•  Assuming you are already logged in to the backend of your website and already on the Seber Cart Control Panel
• On the top Seber Cart navigation select Orders
• At the top right hand side of the screen where save and apply normally are, there is an Affiliate icon please select this.
• Once the page has loaded you will see From and To boxes with dates in them, simply select the dates you wish to see and click display.
• This will show all affiliate codes used between those two dates.
